Vilnius is especially pleasant to explore because most interesting places to visit are within a short walking distance. The most famous sightseeing places are listed below. • Artilery bastion which was built in 17th century as a defensive post now is displaying the exposition of rare exhibits of 18th century.
• The TV tower is now the Radio and TV center. it is a 326,5 m height and includes a marvelous restaurant up in 160m height called Milky Way. The restaurant is a great observation desk as it is turning around slowly and opens the picturesque panorama of Vilnius city.
• The European Park is a very surprising open air museum including exhibits of contemporary art . it is situated 14 km around the geographical Europe center.
• The Užupis Respublic – it is a bohemian distric which iš often compared to Monmartre in Paris.
