Palanga
Palanga is one of the most visited resorts in Lithuania. The main Basanavičius street is crowded with the tourists almost all the year. Constant promenading in the Basanavičius street makes it vivid and fills it with the sounds of music, laugh and lively clattering. Visitors may not only enjoy beautiful sandy beaches but also visit an Amber Museum established in the Palace of Count Feliksas Tiškevičius, the Birutė hill, which is the highest dune on the Palanga seashore, a pier, which is thought to be the symbol of Palanga resort. Tourist can join many different restaurants and cafes, buy some artworks from local craftsmen, taste the fresh fish and have fun in various night clubs.
Nida
Nida is a prestigious Lithuanian resort famous for its quite atmosphere, unique landscape and high quality entertainments. Nida is visited by approximately 300000 visitors each year who are eager to find a place for total relaxing and rest. Unique nature, sand dunes and seaside is worth visiting as well as the great lighthouse, the Thom Mann Museum and fishermen homestead.
Šventoji
Šventoji is an old fishermen settlement established on the Šventoji river shore on the Baltic sea coast. It is a calm and cosy little resort well liked by those who prefer quiet vacation in chalets or camps. Usually the same old faces are seen in Šventoji each summer season as people get used to coming there in summer and later simply keep the nice tradition.
Preila
Preila is a little town in the Curonian Spit located 6 km from Nida on the shore of Curonian Lagoon. It is only 2 km from the Baltic sea. The town has only one street which extends on the coast of Curonian Lagoon. Preila includes several living houses most of them are for rent in summer season and a boat marine.
Neringa
Neringa is the city in the Curonian Spit, which includes such settlements like Nida, Preila, Juodkrantė. Neringa is well known for its beautiful landscapes and original nature. It is thought to be the best Lithuanian resort center because the Curonian Spit is well preserved as it is included in the list of UNESCO heritage. Both the Baltic sea and the Curonian Lagoon is available to join as well as many cultural and historic heritage objects that are located in the area of Neringa City. The season opening festival held in Neringa annually called ”Nida” is well known and well attended as the occasion reveals the real Neringa`s spirit and fills with it the atmosphere that attracts tourists even more then.
